Choose a SHA algorithm to compute a hexadecimal digest of the exact UTF-8 text, including spaces and newlines.
A quick example
SHA-256 produces 64 hexadecimal characters; SHA-512 produces 128.
Supported formats & limitations
Plain hashes are not encryption or password storage. Uses browser Web Crypto when available, otherwise a locally bundled SHA implementation. Limit: 1 MiB.
Does this tool upload my input?
No. Tool processing happens in your browser. Your input and result are not automatically saved. The host may still receive ordinary page access logs.Read about privacy.
